Code Atlantic LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates Resurgo (https://resurgo.app), a personal knowledge capture and resurfacing system. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service, including our web application, Chrome extension, and MCP server integration.

By using Resurgo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Service.

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and password (encrypted).
• Content Data: We store the URLs, notes, titles, tags, and other content you save to Resurgo, including browser tab information captured via our Chrome extension.
• Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card information. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our Service, including features used, pages visited, and actions taken.
• Device Information: We collect device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and general location information.
• Chrome Extension Data: When you use our Chrome extension, we access browser tab information (URLs, titles, favicons) that you choose to save to Resurgo.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

If you authenticate using third-party providers (Google, GitHub, etc.), we receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile picture as permitted by those services.

• Process your transactions and send related information
• Send you scheduled digest emails with resurfaced content
• Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests

4. How We Share Your Information

• Supabase: Database and authentication services (data stored in secure cloud infrastructure)
• Vercel: Application hosting and analytics services
• Resend: Email delivery service for digest notifications
• Stripe: Payment processing (for paid subscriptions)

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders, subpoenas, or government regulations).

4.3 Business Transfers

If Code Atlantic LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Supabase's cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption both in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or security purposes.
